Stampin’ some Creativity

Get inspired with our new Heidi Grace and Cloud 9 Stamps! There are some great new themes available to help round out your stamp collections with every occasion.  A couple of our favorites are featured below.

Great for invitations, gifts or favors, these Cloud 9 Baby stamps are perfect to help welcome new additions to any family!

Create your own patterned papers! Place groupings of stamps on an acrylic block and stamp on the paper of your choice. Try making two different groupings of stamps and stagger them while stamping to create a more detailed design. 

Adhere multiple layers of paper to create unique borders around your layouts. We used Xyron's Adhesive Application System which made it very easy to get an even adhesive coverage.

These Heidi Grace Wedding stamps are a perfect combination of light-hearted elegance. Celebrate the union of friends and loved ones with these adorable stamps!

Use silver ink to make patterns look a bit more sophisticated. Try using a different color for more fun, playful layouts. 

Mix and match accent colors for variation!

March In-Store Demo at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Larger Superstores

JoAnn Fabric and Craft Larger Superstores are hosting, yet another, in-store demo featuring Fiskars tools and some pretty Colorbök product.  Brand new boutique, Antique Paperie, makes it's debut in this project designed by Valerie Salmon for Fiskars.  It looks complicated with those gear-shaped layers but the Gearin' Up Squeeze Punch creates those with little effort!  Check with your local JoAnn Fabric and Craft Larger Superstore for the exact date and time in March.

Boxes of Love

Looking for an alternative to the same old Valentine's Day cards?
Check this out!

Using one of our own fabulous scrap packs from Walmart and the Heidi Grace Template Project Pack, we created the most festive of little boxes to share with our favorite daycare cuties!

Just trace the template onto any papers you prefer, cut them out, and fold! You can embellish your little gift boxes any way you like. We made simple little flowers with a hand cut heart in the middle of each.

And just what do you fill these boxes of love with?

Rather than adding to the sugar high the kids will already be on, we chose to pack our mini-boxes with an assortment of fun finds.

We just went to our local supermarket and picked up balloons, bubbles, bouncy balls, jelly bracelets, jiggly lizards and an assortment of cute little stickers. The kiddos are sure to love these little boxes that came straight from our hearts!

Handmade Holiday Made Easy!

It's easy to hand-make all of your holiday cards and tags when you've got a big stash of holiday paper. With the Cloud 9 Seasonal Paper Pads at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts Larger Superstores, it's pretty easy...almost too easy!

These paper pads highlight the colors, textures, and icons of the best seasons of the year.. Autumn, Halloween, and (of course) Christmas! It's enough paper goodness to get you through the entire holiday season! 

Fall and Halloween may be long gone, but now's the perfect time to start gathering photos and memories from the last couple of months and making cute projects with these papers!

But for now, let's talk about Christmas, shall we? I've made a couple quick, easy projects with the papers from this collection. You can whip up a gift tag in less than 5 minutes. It's so nice to give gifts with that little extra something special to show how much you care.

These little trees were a cinch to make, and they're easy to customize! They can stand alone as decoration, or can be used to top a handmade card or gift tag.

Don't underestimate the power of a cute gift tag. It adds such a nice, polished touch to your wrapped gift!

Then I embellished it with a border edge stamp from the Heidi Grace Stamp Collection, also available at JoAnn's. Next, I added some adorable stickers and embellishments from the new Value Line at Target Stores. Everything is a dollar!

Here's an exact breakdown of what I used:

Next, I created a sweet little "lunch bag" style box that you could easily use as birthday party favor boxes, or just as a nice "just because" gift for your special little someone! I used papers from the Heidi Grace "One Sunny Day" line, also available at JoAnn Fabric & Craft Larger Superstores. The owl sticker is from the Value Line at Target stores. Isn't he so darn cute?
