Stampin’ some Creativity

Get inspired with our new Heidi Grace and Cloud 9 Stamps! There are some great new themes available to help round out your stamp collections with every occasion.  A couple of our favorites are featured below.

Great for invitations, gifts or favors, these Cloud 9 Baby stamps are perfect to help welcome new additions to any family!

Create your own patterned papers! Place groupings of stamps on an acrylic block and stamp on the paper of your choice. Try making two different groupings of stamps and stagger them while stamping to create a more detailed design. 

Adhere multiple layers of paper to create unique borders around your layouts. We used Xyron's Adhesive Application System which made it very easy to get an even adhesive coverage.

These Heidi Grace Wedding stamps are a perfect combination of light-hearted elegance. Celebrate the union of friends and loved ones with these adorable stamps!

Use silver ink to make patterns look a bit more sophisticated. Try using a different color for more fun, playful layouts.

Boxes of Love

Looking for an alternative to the same old Valentine's Day cards?
Check this out!

Using one of our own fabulous scrap packs from Walmart and the Heidi Grace Template Project Pack, we created the most festive of little boxes to share with our favorite daycare cuties!

Just trace the template onto any papers you prefer, cut them out, and fold! You can embellish your little gift boxes any way you like. We made simple little flowers with a hand cut heart in the middle of each.

And just what do you fill these boxes of love with?

Rather than adding to the sugar high the kids will already be on, we chose to pack our mini-boxes with an assortment of fun finds.

We just went to our local supermarket and picked up balloons, bubbles, bouncy balls, jelly bracelets, jiggly lizards and an assortment of cute little stickers. The kiddos are sure to love these little boxes that came straight from our hearts!

Welcome to Post #1 of our CHA Sneak Peeks!  We're so excited to share our four new boutiques with you today (and multitudes of additional new products in the coming days!!).  We are sure 2012 is going to be a wonderful year and our hope is to leave you as inspired as we are.  Without further ado here are the beautiful new Colorbök collections Antique Paperie and Victorian Parlour:

Here's the best news, you don't have long to wait before these hit stores!  Start checking at your local Jo-Ann Craft and Larger Superstore the first week in February to get your hands on the hundreds of items available from these collections.

Born to be Stylish

We have some lucky ladies here at Colorbök who are expecting and what better way to welcome a little one into the world than with some adorable (and stylish!) hand-decorated onesies?! 

I love these fabrics and was so excited for an excuse to use them, and so were some of my fellow designers.

For these onesies, I created patches out of individual icons or sets of icons in the pattern. This is a great way to use any scraps left over from a larger project!

Before you sew tip: Sew a piece of fabric slightly larger than the patch to the inside of the onesie when sewing on the patch. This will prevent any wrinkling as you sew. Simply trim off any excess from around the stitching on the inside once you are done.

We hope that you have as much fun crafting with our fabrics as we did!

Look no further, because our Heidi Grace Template Project Pack has you covered! With 12 super cute box templates, you can create a gift box for any occasion! The templates are made of nice, thick cardstock so you can use them over and over again. Plus, the directions are printed right on the template, making it super easy to follow! All you have to do is punch out the template, trace it onto whatever patterened paper you choose, and fold! It really is that easy! No measuring involved (a major plus)!

I made a few quick projects using 2 templates from this pack, along with some cute product available in stores right now!

For the first project, I used glitter papers from the Heidi Grace "Daisy Dear" line, available now at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Larger Superstores. Then I embellished it with a border edge stamp from the Heidi Grace Stamp Collection, also available at JoAnn's. Next, I added some adorable stickers and embellishments from the new Value Line at Target Stores. Everything is a dollar!

Here's an exact breakdown of what I used:

Next, I created a sweet little "lunch bag" style box that you could easily use as birthday party favor boxes, or just as a nice "just because" gift for your special little someone! I used papers from the Heidi Grace "One Sunny Day" line, also available at JoAnn Fabric & Craft Larger Superstores. The owl sticker is from the Value Line at Target stores. Isn't he so darn cute?

The Template Project Pack is yet another new Heidi Grace product that just set in JoAnn Fabric and Craft Larger Superstores.  There are FIVE different packs that include boxes, garlands, albums, celebration and seasonal.   They might seem daunting on screen but each template includes detailed, step-by-step instructions for assembly.

Pair these templates with the Specialty Project Pads from the same section and you can make some of these amazing projects shown on our website.  (Click here to check them out.)  And that's only the beginning - there are 61 templates total, all meticulously (and painstakingly) developed, constructed and refined by Heidi and the team here!

A brand new format has just hit the shelves at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Larger Superstores and we're really excited to share it with you!  So here's the scoop - Heidi Grace and the team here have been tirelessly working developing these three amazing punch out project pads that each make loads of projects by simply punching out the pieces and assembling them as instructed.  Not only are these the first of their kind, but in case these folding exercises seem a little intimidating rest assured that you can find a little extra help on our ColorbokCrafts YouTube Channel where Amiee walks you through the construction of one of the more challenging projects from each pad.  Below are some of the projects from each of the pads.
