Today we have a special post by Guest Designer, Erin Bassett. We're excited to share her adorable projects featuring our Fiesta collection. How cute is that shadowbox?! It would be the perfect way to say "I love you" this Valentine's day!
Hi everyone, I'm guest blogging today and sharing a couple of projects I created with the Cloud 9 "Fiesta" collection.
First up is this 5" x 7" shadow box.
I made the frame out of some coordinating cardstock that I had cut out using my Silhouette. Once I put the frame together I then punched out the die-cut alphabet, sanded the edges, and then added some faux stitches with a pen. I popped up the letters with some foam adhesive to give them some dimension.
Oh, and you see that "v"...it used to be an "x"! Trimmed down it's the perfect size to float above the tail of the "L".
And of course I had to use one of the fabric flowers and the adorable heart button as an embellishment!
Next I created a scrapbook layout about our puppy, Willow. I really like the offset look of the glittered patterned paper I used for the background.
I added the one of the die-cut papers, trimming it to fit, and sewed it to the page.
I also added some messy stitches to the fabric stickers as well.
So that's my projects! I'd love to see what YOU have done with this collection. Leave a comment below with a link to your projects so we can all check them out!

Nice work Erin! I really like the Love frame, especially! Other items nice to, but I really got my eyes stuck on that frame. Love the button!
