I've been LOVING all the "Project Life" style layouts I've seen on pinterest lately. I decided that I could recreate the look for less with our NEW Mutipocket Page Protectors from Walmart. The pages have different sized pockets that can accommodate regular 4x6in photos, as well as other sizes like squares- perfect for your instagram pics! The multi-pocket protectors are ideal for fun and easy scrapping! I like to mix these multi-pockets in with regular 12x12in protectors for a uniquely custom album.
I created pages with photos from a weekend "up north" and placed them in our NEW 3 Ring Binder Album, also available at Walmart. This 12in album features the convenience of interlocking D-ring binding. This allows pages to be turned with ease and removed or rearranged in a snap.
What do you look for in an album?
3-Ring or postbound?
Solid color cover or patterns?
Do you like windows on the cover?
Let us know your thoughts on albums in the comments below and you will be entered to win one of our designer scrapbooks from Walmart.
Contest ends Wednesday, August 15th at Midnight est.
Good luck!

Awesome idea!

I am a 3 Ring album kind of woman. :)
Posted by: Jill B | 13 August 2012 at 06:41 AM
I used to use 3 ring, but they would wear after years of looking at the pages, postpound have stood the test of time in my house.
Pattern covers are great for seasons or special events. I use solid colors for my kids and grand, easy to grab that way.
Windows on the cover make a great introduction to the contents, love them.
I do miss the panoramic pages.
These pages offer an alternative to the standard page layouts, looking forward to doing some pages like this.

I love the 3 Dring albums, especially if you can decorate the outside as well.

I like 3-rings, patterned and with a window.

I have changed all my albums to 3 ring style. I prefer no window although my album inventory, which are all solid color are running half and half without windows. I love that Walmart is carrying your albums. I just wish that they carried more scrapbook materials.

I like the postbound style with a window and depending on the type of album I am making, I use both solid and patterened colors.

I love your albums. I use them for all of my scrapbooks. I love to use three ring binders with a patterned front on them. with or without a window doesn't matter to me. But where I live I can't find the three ring binders so I use the post bound.

I use post bound but like the ease of using a ring binding - especially in setting up the album. Thanks for the opportunity.
Posted by: Cheryl Freet | 13 August 2012 at 07:08 AM
I like the 3 ring style best simply because it makes it easy to rearrange and add to albums for works in progress. So far, I only have patterned 12x12 albums, with the patterns fitting the theme of the album. But there are days I wish I had gotten solid colored albums. LOL! So happy Walmart is carrying Colorbok albums! Thanks for the chance to win!

I like 3-ring... it is more flexible to add pages on the fly so I don't have to scrapbook "in order".
I have all solid color albums.
Window on the cover is fun to feature a special photo from the year/trip.

My first scrapbook was a 12 X 12 album that I love.Easy to get the pages in and out and you don`t have as much bulk as the post bound albums.Unfortunately I haven`t been able to find any more.I also like the idea of the pockets in the page protectors, I will definitley be heading to Walmart for these products.

I prefer 3 ring albums for easy rearranging. I prefer solid color unless the pattern fits the album theme. I prefer a window for an album preview.

3-Ring or postbound?
I use both, I like the 3 ring if it's going to be bulky!
Solid color cover or patterns?
Depends what I'm scrapbooking, I've used both!
Do you like windows on the cover?
I DO like the window on the cover!

three ringer binder (easier to open), solid with no window :). thanks for the chance!

I like 3 ring so I can rearrange and add pages.I prefer solid covers with no window. I have just recently started to look into using protectors like this. It looks like it would make a fun page.

I use both ring albums and post pound- depending on what is available and what I am using the album for. This album looks very nice and I do like the window on the front. I prefer solid albums to patterns for the most part.

I like all kinds of albums. For me, I use post-boound, for projects (work album) I use 3 ring and for gifts I use spiral bound and post bound. I like patterns and plain albums. The plain ones are great to decorate. As for windows on the cover. I can take it or leave it. I love the idea of the different sized pockets. Gives you the opportunity to try something different.

I prefer the post bound albums and I like your solid colors as well as the patterns. I have used both! Thanks for the chance to win! I can't get Colorbok albums in my town anymore except at Wal-Mart.

I like all kinds of albums! But i am really starting to like the 3 Ring ones. They are so much easier to add/remove pages from or reorganize. As well as easier to look through! Thanks for the chance to win!!

I really like the 3 ring, solid color (unless it's holiday), and no window :-)
Posted by: jpscraps | 13 August 2012 at 08:12 AM
I like 3 ring albums. I could go either way with the window on the cover and solid colors.
Posted by: Amy Jones#8546 | 13 August 2012 at 08:18 AM
I don't have a preference really...each has it's own use. I prefer solid and without a window.
Posted by: Teresa Blue | 13 August 2012 at 08:30 AM
I like post bound albums with windows on the covers. Color and pattern don't really matter to me, I just try to find one that seems to match the idea of the book.
Great article and suggestion for a way to make your own project life style album, Thanks!

I love 3 ring albums, but I do use post bound albums with windows for all albums done for kids, ause the don't come apart as easy when thekids look at them. I like the windows as it's a quick way to see if you hae the right album

I have been using 3 ring binders for years, love the flexibility of taking pages out, rearranging with ease. I also heavily embellish my pages so they can get pretty bulky. I prefer solid olors because they r more gender fryiendly. With or without windows, doesn't matter. Thx for the opportunity at ur giveaway, good luck to all;-)

I love these albums. So far I only have post-bound but want ring-bound because it would be easier to rearrange when I don't scrap in order, which is a lot. I love windows on the front for a sneak of what's inside. I put a pic of each kid so I know who's album it is, or of the fam, etc depending. Most of mine are solid but I like prints too. Just depends!
Posted by: Amber Sheaves | 13 August 2012 at 08:58 AM
I like 3 ring albums as much as postbound, the first for the versatility and when i'm arranging the pics i want to use for scrapbooking, they get arranged in a 3 ring album while it's time to use them and i like to put my scrapbook pages in postbound albums as long as it is not bulky; otherwise i leave it in the 3 ring ones.
Love the window on the front. I like both, solid and pattern albums but somehow i tend to like so much the patterned ones, specially if the colors catch my eye, a thing that is easily achieved by your albums =)

I like the postbound but replace the posts with a new item that is available that makes changing pages easier!!

I have been looking for just this album! Heading to Walmart!
Posted by: Wendy Orme | 13 August 2012 at 09:26 AM
I like 3-ring, solid color w/ a window. I have a lot of electronic albums but they are NOT half as much fun as one or two on a coffee table to p/u & look thru!!!
Posted by: Michelle Cosner-Chapman | 13 August 2012 at 09:27 AM
I really prefer 3-ring albums, though have used post-bound as well. Solid colors are good. I like with & without windows, depending on the particular project. Great giveaway!

I love this idea. It sure takes the scrap every photo pressure off while still being playful, fun and allowing you to tell your story your way.

I've always used the post bound albums but I think the 3 ring binder will be my next purchase. Really like how easily you can re arrange the pages and the how freely the pages will turn, thanks!!

I use postbound albums and usually try to get solid covers, all the same color.
Posted by: Debby J | 13 August 2012 at 01:08 PM
I love the 3-ring binders because it easily allows me to add pages as I finish them and rearrange very easily. I'd love to see some smaller size binders such as 8X8 and 6X6. I've been doing alot more of the mini albums recently and these sizes are really hard to find.
