Okay, I know many of you are groaning as you read this post and thinking "Christmas already?!" but a brand-new batch of holiday value items is hitting the shelves next week and we didn't want you to miss out on the festivities. I happen to be one of those maniacal people who usually start getting in the holiday spirit before Halloween is even here, so when our samples arrived, I immediately queued up the Elf soundtrack and transformed the patterned paper packs into this festive window display.
You can find the tutorial I used here. These pinwheels are great for so many things - look how cute they are as gift toppers! I think they would also be adorable as handmade ornaments and decorations on wreaths and gift bags.
These are the patterned paper packs I used for my window display, along with coordinating red and green glitter paper packs, all of which will be available at JoAnn's Craft and Larger Superstores and A.C. Moore.
In addition to the papers above, A.C. Moore will have a whole line of coordinating accents and embellishments, all for just $1.
These last 4 items (JOY and Holly layered embellishments, gem snowflake, and foil chipboard alphas) will be available at Target as well as A.C. Moore.
Confused? Here we go, one more time just in case:
A.C. Moore has ALL of the holiday items pictured in this post.
JoAnn's Craft and Larger Superstores has the glitter and patterned paper packs.
Target has the JOY and Holly layered embellishments, gem snowflake, and foil chipboard alphas.
I know its early, but I can't think of a better way to get in the holiday spirit than sitting down with a new craft project and a mug of hot cocoa before all the hustle and bustle begins. What is your favorite way to kick off the holiday season? Leave us a comment below, we love to hear from you!

For me it's Black Friday sales AND then decorating the house...nothing says Christmas more than setting up the favorite decorations to Christmas carols!

Oooooh! Your garlands/decorations turned out absolutely beautifully! Fires in the fireplace and Bing Crosby = my favorite time of year.

Gorgeous - love the colours & patterns of your pinwheels (thanks for the link) Alisa.
I wish we had $1 bargains like these over here in Australia, especially the bling :o)
... I plan on getting my Christmas cards progressed further, already done a few extras for a snowman card swap and have some photos to share using some pretty papers with cute border & corner punches. Although I hate the hustle & bustle of the shops at Christmas, I love to hear Christmas tunes playing in the background.

It starts for me with making cards. Already have one done even though I am still writing out my Thanksgiving cards. I had Carols playing while I was working. I like them any time of year. Around the second wk of Dec. we will get a couple of trees for our decks..we don't put one up in the house because of animals. The trees stay lit all night, giving a lovely glow to the yard.
