so the adventure begins!!!!

first and foremost...let me start be saying what an exciting adventure i have started in joining with Colorbök!  it has been an awesome first couple months and we have certainly been hard at work to bring you fresh, playful, and fun new designs from heidi grace designs. the team here at Colorbök is so great to work with, and it is refreshing to work with such a creative bunch!

 

i must admit i have take a bit of a break from scrapbooking...so i am just a bit behind...ok...truth...i am SUPER behind.  it has been so fun to dive back into a hobby that is both gratifying as well as nurturing to my creative spirit.

 

because i am so behind, instead of rushing through these memories that are so meaningful to me, i have decided to take my time and put the much deserved effort into each layout. but...i still want to have something to show after a late night of scrapbooking. (i like to have something completed each time i scrapbook, i am totally nutty like that)  hmmm...how will i do that if i am so far behind, and want to take my time to catch up.

 

the old standby...mini albums.  i have taken a few of my favorite photos and am putting together little mini albums to satisfy my craving for completion...while i am slowing trying to get caught up.

 

i have taken two approaches with this...there is the "simple...get it done, make it look nice look"...

 
 
 
   
and then there is also the "spend the little bit more time and add the cute details look." 

 

both are cute, and both get the point across. so, in the mean time i will try to get a page done here and a page done there...why rush through for the sake of getting it done? (can i just tell you how great it is to be playing with the photos of my sweet babes!!!  i love to look at them...and find myself just gazing...)
 

i am so thrilled to start this journey with Colorbök, and truly excited to be scrapbooking again!  i have been bursting at the seams with ideas, and we are having so much fun getting them ready for you!

I'm just getting into scrapbooking and have been "collecting" paper and stamps from your Baby Girl line, A Little Bird's Tale, and Reagan's Closet. I haven't scrapbooked any of our daughter's baby pictures -- and she's five! So, yeah, I'm behind, too. :-)
